Oman Charitable Organization
"Since its establishment in 1996, the Oman Charitable Organisation OCO Activities has been contributing to fostering a culture of charitable work and volunteerism across the landscapes of the Sultanate of Oman. Through its programs and diverse activities in various branches, the OCO represents a solid foundation among the centers cultivating social partnerships, conscious grounding of charitable acts driven by free will, and sustained motivation. The internal aid programs of the OCO serve as an effective model in providing developmental charitable assistance that extends beyond direct financial aid. These programs include initiatives supporting individuals to help themselves, such as educational aid programs, orphan sponsorship, and others.
The role of OCO is not limited to its internally varied and inclusive programs. It extends to external initiatives, considering Oman's humanitarian role in extending the bridges of goodness and aid to brothers and sisters in different countries and regions, responding actively to the needs and conditions of these humanitarian cases. The concept of charitable work is a comprehensive humanitarian idea rooted in generosity, expanding and spreading in proportion to the breadth and diversity of human needs."
