The Ihsan Association Branch in South Al Batinah Governorate works through volunteer work and charitable efforts to provide service and care and improve the quality of life for the elderly. This is achieved through a clear vision that involves monitoring all aspects of the daily affairs of the elderly and supporting them to enjoy a dignified life in health, psychological, social, living, legislative, recreational, and religious domains, as well as assisting with their transactions in government offices and home care. The branch also develops service programs and recreational activities, carried out by members who fulfill the obligations imposed on them according to the association's system. The association was established under Ministerial Decision No. (144/2018) dated 9/9/2018. The branch serves elderly people over the age of sixty in a geographical scope consisting of six wilayats in the South Al Batinah Governorate (Rustaq, Mussanah, Barka, Nakhal, Wadi Al-Ma’awil, and Al-Awabi), covering 471 villages. It provides various services and care to them through the launch of initiatives, projects, and different programs through several committees in the branch.
