The "Make Their Lives Easier" initiative is focused on meeting the needs of the elderly for prosthetic and assistive devices and helping them obtain continuous health, social, psychological, and recreational care. The needs of the elderly are increasing with the health, social, nutritional, and psychological changes that occur at this stage of life, especially for elderly individuals who are underprivileged and lack family support. This initiative offers an opportunity for benevolent members of the community to participate in this project and provide good deeds for our fathers and mothers. This initiative was launched on Thursday, November 19, 2015, with the aim of providing medical devices for bedridden and disabled elderly people in the South Al Batinah Governorate by inviting community members, institutions, and companies to donate generously to make the lives of the elderly and their caregivers easier. The initiative has been well-received by many community members, and thankfully, more than 3,000 prosthetic devices have been provided by December 31, 2023.
